
All Shining Light staff are matched by profile to the individual requiring support. This ensures our staff and the individual have the best opportunity to build a positive rapport and in return our staff are able to provide effective, useful and tailored supports.

Staff at Shining Light are all trained and skilled in providing person-centered active support. This ensures that choice and control is embedded into service delivery with an individualised approach, in return our staff are able to provide ongoing daily support, mentoring and role modelling which is tailored to the individual.

Staff are continuously trained in various support techniques including behaviour management, social skill implementation, communication and daily living skill building.
Our staff are supervised by Allied Health Professionals for continual up-skilling, training, professional development and ongoing support.

All Shining Light staff have recognised qualifications in Disabliity Services, Child Services, Youth Work, and/or Community Services.
